Chapter Goals and Objectives

The goals, found primarily in the objectives of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. serve as our constant guides. They are as follows:

  • To create a medium of contact for children that will stimulate their growth and development.
  • To provide constructive educational, cultural, civic, recreational, social and service programs for children.
  • To assist mothers in learning more about their children through educational conferences, seminars and workshops.
  • To seek for ALL children the same advantages we desire for our own.
  • To support all national legislation aimed at bettering conditions for all children.
  • To develop and disseminate childcare and child development educational materials that will promote positive parenting.

Each year, our chapter programming activities are aligned with our national theme, goals and objectives. Our goal is to embrace a plan of action to address and help alleviate disturbing community problems that affect children and families. Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Milwaukee Chapter has gone to great lengths to develop programming in accordance to our National aims. We are taking bold new steps, not only in raising awareness of children’s needs and but in addressing concerns that exist in our immediate communities. Through national incentives such as Habitat For Humanity and collaborations with organizations like the Links and Children’s Defense Fund, Jack and Jill of America chapters across the nation are making a difference in the lives of families and the communities we serve.
